Christmas Wish

Yes, we are those parents! But who could resist a tiny Little Boo snuggled up in Santa's fur.

This Christmas season we were thrown into the wonderful world of milking parents for every cent they have because they will spend it on their kids. What ever happened to the days when you sat on Santa's lap and Mom snapped a million pictures? Nope, now a pic on Santa's lap will run ya $17 (if your cheap). Oh well... she's worth it.

So what do Little Boo's wish for? My guess is milk, a clean diaper, snuggles, a Mama & Papa to love her, grandmas & grandpas to spoil her and a doggie to one day chase around the house. Oh, but she already has that... maybe she wishes Mama & Papa would actually play with her at 3am instead of putting her back in that bed.

Oh yeah and in case you were wondering this Texas Santa was not wearing the usual Santa boots, he was sporting his best cowboy boots.

Saying Goodbye:(

The hardest part about moving is definitely saying goodbye to the friends that we have made. I still dream of a little town where I could "collect" all the wonderful friends we have, along with family, and all live a blissful life together. But since I can't up root everyone I guess those relationships will just have to thrive via the Internet. But if anyone is game for living in the same town we could definitely discuss what would be a good place:)

On to the pictures. The first two are a couple of the couples from out small group. In sticking with my usual M.O. we don't use names so you will just have to settle for pictures. There are several other couples that attend small group but I didn't get my camera out soon enough to get their pictures. J&S and J&C were the two couples that came to visit us at the hospital when we had Little Boo. We are going to miss them terribly. My hubby will especially miss the guys as they share an interest in killing aquatic & woodland animals:)




The second hard thing about moving is finding new Doctors. We had two awesome Doc's here. The first is Little Boo's Pediatrician Dr. P. He is so wonderful with her, and with us the new parents. This is the kind of Dr. that sees your kid's kids and you just know that he loves what he does.

The second picture is my OB/GYN Dr. C that delivered Little Boo. Again she is the kind of Doc that delivers your whole family, if only we were staying. Not that we are particularly fond of San Angelo but can't they move to FL with us?

We are praying for a good church, godly friends, and awesome Doctors in FL but they will never replace the folks we have meet here. We are grateful for all those who made this time in San Angelo so special and those that walked with us through this pregnancy and new parenthood. They are all very special to us and we will never forget them. *tear*

Blogging Hiatus

With the holidays upon us, and the movers not far behind, I have fallen very behind on keeping up with our family blog. My original intent was to update it every week.... Haha yeah right. But I didn't want to much time to pass without getting more pictures of Little Boo posted. As you can see she is growing by leaps and bounds. Her car seat fits her much better now:) Oh and so does the cutie clothes that Papa picked out for her.

And speaking of cutie clothes, this is her special sleeper that Grandpa B picked out for her. We thought it would still be too big but she's filling it in nicely. Though she has gained some weight I think she is still gonna be like Mama and just be a petite, skinny little baby. Looking back at Mama's baby pictures there wasn't much pudge to be found and so far Boo is the same. Though I keep trying to tell her that this is the one time in her life as a woman where it will be cute to have pudgy thighs:)
